ALL THE HATS WE WEAR

Series celebrating women’s resilience.

My models are everyday women who were photographed in a private setting and asked a questions about their upbringing, their life now, and what change they would love to see in the future. The face expressions and emotion I captured were transformed from photography in to the paintings.

What they all had in common is resilience - the powerful skill that is developed over time by living and dealing with an everyday life. By wearing all the different hats we, as women, need to wear through life - so we can keep the peace while fighting the fight for better rights. For our daughters.

Paintings are named in Latin.
